Every Babysit & Clean Tasker is female and has passed a National Police Check and holds a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC). We have a zero tolerance policy for anything less than impeccable backgrounds, ensuring your child's safety is never compromised.

Our babysitters have ample childcare experience, and many are mothers themselves or have childcare qualifications. They know the basics of first aid and have child care know-how appropriate for ages 3-12. Your little ones will be well cared for.

We are fully insured, and so are our contractors, for your complete peace of mind. Public Liability Insurance covers any unlikely accidents or damages that might occur during the service. You don't have to worry about separate nanny insurance or workers’ compensation – it’s all managed on our end.
How “babysit & clean” works
Tailored Attention and Cleaning Ratio
You decide how you want the time split. Primarily need childcare with just a bit of tidying up? Or want the sitter to do more housekeeping while the kids do homework? You set the ratio of babysitting to cleaning. Our versatile Taskers will follow your priorities.
Household Tasks We Handle
During the cleaning portion, the sitter can tackle light housekeeping tasks like washing dishes, cleaning up toys, wiping down kitchen counters, or folding laundry – all while continuously supervising the children. Safety comes first, so cleaning tasks are integrated accordingly. (Note: For heavy cleaning, book a separate Home Cleaning service.)
Engaging Childcare
Our sitter will actively engage with your child(ren) with fun and age-appropriate activities. This could include playing games, doihng arts and crafts, helping with homework, reading stories, or whatever you specify for their routine. We’ll follow your bedtime routine and ensure your little ones are well-cared for.
Real-Time Updates
Our app lets you stay connected. You’ll receive a notification when the sitter arrives and when the job is completed. During the session, you can message the sitter anytime to check in, and they can send you a quick update or a cute photo of the kids playing, if you wish. Open communication is key to building trust.

What you should do
To get the most out of a Babysit & Clean booking, we suggest a brief preparation
House Tour/Instructions
If it’s the sitter’s first time, allocate a few minutes at the start to show them around your home – where cleaning supplies are, any off-limits areas, and the kids’ favorite toys or routines. Share any allergies or special needs, and emergency contact info.
Priority List
Let the sitter know which cleaning tasks are top priority for you. For example, you might say “Please focus on playing with Jack, but if he naps, could you vacuum the living room and do the dinner dishes?” Clear instructions help us meet your expectations fully.
Contact Information
Ensure you’re reachable via phone/app while you’re away. And of course, feel free to relax! We’ve got everything under control.
You’ll come home to find happy kids and a tidier home. The sitter will give you a brief hand-over report on how the time went.
This can be verbal or through a note/app message – covering what the kids did, any notable events, and what cleaning tasks were completed. Most often, you’ll just receive smiles and perhaps some artwork your child created while you were away!
